Product: Neutrogena Deep Clean Purifying Micellar Cleansing Towelettes

What I loved: micellar formula

What I didn’t love: chemical smell & dryness of the wipes

Now I love and use a lot of Neutrogena products, in particular the hydro gel recovery mask, acne moisturizer, pore cleanser, and pore toner. And a couple weeks ago I was out of my normal micellar wipes so I grabbed these at Ulta.

For me this product was a big flop – for two reasons. One, the smell. They are highly fragranced and the smell is horrible – like chemicals. Two, they were extremely dry. Not enough moisture in them (upon opening a new package) to actually wipe makeup of myself. Even though I could re-hydrate these with some micellar water I will be tossing them in the trash unfortunately due to the smell. Very surprised this is a Neutrogena product as their quality is generally very high.
